Welcome to the Alley Cats Diner

which was previously the

Caprice Café and Restaurant

From April 2009 the Caprice Café and Restaurant in Fore Street, Kingsbridge, Devon, has been trading under the title Alley Cats Diner.

Same chef
Same management
Same great value
Same menu, with exciting new additions

The management of Laura Moyle and chef Gary Cann remains.

We are currently preparing a new web site at www.alleycatsdiner.co.uk - but it isn't ready yet!

However the newly refurbished diner awaits your custom - come and see us!

The rest of this www site remains as it was...and will be deleted one day soon.

They aim to provide visitors and residents of Kingsbridge with a good service and reasonably priced quality food and drink, in a comfortable atmosphere, all year round. Most of the menu is home-made, and sourced wherever possible with locally produced fresh ingredients.

Laura and Gary welcome you to visit them: please mention that you saw this invitation on the www.

They offer tea and coffee and cakes, and an attractive and varied menu, with a range of light snacks,or more substantial dishes suitable for all-day satisfaction. There is a special breakfast menu until 11am, and an evening meal menu (with last orders at 8.30pm). Vegetarian and gluten-free dishes are available as a matter of course. The Caprice is licensed to sell beers, wines and spirits, provided the drinks form part of a sit-down meal. The traditional Sunday Lunch is available. Why not give mother a break next week end?

The Caprice is able to accommodate parties and larger groups. Laura will be delighted to help you with your booking, and Gary will be pleased to discuss menu options. Give them a call on telephone 01548 852151.

Gary was previously a partner and head chef at the successful East Gate Café and Brasserie in Tavistock, and prior to that at Goode's of Tavistock: two of West Devons best restaurants. The move to Kingsbridge enables Laura and Gary to manage the Caprice in their own sensible style, to serve both residents and tourists, and to add to the tradition of good eating in the South Hams.

A sample menu is available for inspection here, further choices are in the chilled patisserie cabinet, and are listed daily on the blackboard. Chef Gary Cann would be pleased to describe any item on the menu, or discuss additional or special requirements that customers might have.
